Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Ignore Instructions LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“Doneberry,” “we,” “us”), governing your use of the Doneberry app and website (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

1. The Service

Doneberry is a personal task manager that lets you capture, organize, and complete tasks, with syncing across your devices. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

2. Your account

You need an account to use most of the Service. You’re responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Doneberry. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

3. Your content

The tasks and other content you create are yours. You grant us the limited permission needed to store, process, and sync that content solely to provide the Service to you. You’re responsible for your content and for having the rights to it. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

4. Doneberry Pro and subscriptions

Some features require a paid subscription (“Doneberry Pro”). Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store, subject to Apple’s terms.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple ID account settings.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.

We may change subscription pricing or features; we’ll give notice of material changes as required, and changes won’t affect a billing period you’ve already paid for.

5. Acceptable use

Please don’t:

  • break the law or use Doneberry to store or share unlawful content;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service;
  • abuse, overload, or interfere with the Service or other users; or
  • resell or commercially exploit the Service without our permission.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including the Doneberry name, the berry mark, software, and design, is owned by Ignore Instructions LLC and protected by law. These Terms don’t grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Doneberry reliable, but the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and we’ll try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

8. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You’re responsible for keeping your own backups of important information.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ignore Instructions LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US $50.

10. Termination

You can stop using Doneberry and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could harm us or others. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as content ownership, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, unless your local law requires otherwise.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll update the “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
